My approach to Photography... now is probably no different today to my teenage years when I had an insatiable appetite to capture on film. Now some 30 years on and all that is photographic has moved on with different technologies making the capture so convenient and the publication so immediate. I have a passion for capturing landscapes which started quite young and lead to a short spell working in a darkroom and reprographics department where I learnt all the skills necessary to develop black and white and colour prints. Some 35 years, and darkrooms at home are now a thing of the past, I switched to Digital Photography in 1999 and have never looked back. Modern low noise CCD and CMOS sensors have replaced the film medium and completly revoltionised the world of Photography - I cannot think of a better description than ".. a kid in a sweetshop" I am that kid ! Today you will find me touring around all my old haunts capturing the scenery and seasons as I see them. My views- which capture that particular moment- that place -at that time - never to be repeated, but captured !! Current collections include photographs from the 'Elan Valley' in mid Wales and ' Shires which takes in the counties of Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Gloucestershire, Radnorshire and more.
